TECHNOLOGY
SUSTAINABLE.
ECOLOGICAL.
FLEXIBLE.
In addition to our many years of experience, our various technologies for the design of glass façades are our main success factor.
Building envelopes must perform better and better and, in addition to economic requirements, must also meet ecological demands. We have the right solution for all our customers’ requirements. Here you will find an overview of the different technologies and their advantages.
ACTIVE CURTAIN WALL SYSTEMS
Active modular façade systems were developed in the 1980s with the aim of reducing energy consumption in the middle of the global petroleum crisis. Since then, the path taken in the development of this technology has been parallel to the price of energy and the reduction of CO2 emissions required by international organizations, until to achieve an optimum insulation values in order to meet these objectives.
Historical and current data indicate that energy savings of between 20 and 25 % are possible for the entire air conditioning system of the building. (Each case is examined individually).
PASSIVE CURTAIN WALL S70
Passive curtain wall systems combine a high visual quality with all advantages of a standardizes production process. The system has different versions and can thus be adapted to the respective requirements of the building structure.
It meets the highest visual, technical and ecological standards.
COMPLEX DESIGN IN 3D
More and more projects are requesting elements with complex shapes that have to be specifically designed. These elements, due to their complexity, have to be treated during the process, as a small production series. Our design and engineering departments, in collaboration with the project’s stakeholders, must optimize and choose the type of material to be used in each case, in order to ensure that the quality and durability of the material meets the requirements of the project.
Honeycomb panels, aluminum and stainless steel composite, fiberglass with or without core manufactured by resin infusion, materials such as titanium, glass, cast aluminium, etc…
GLASS ROOF – SKYLIGHT
Most of the projects include glass skylights in interior courtyards, entrance halls, atriums etc.
For their construction, we use self-supporting systems or systems supported by auxiliary structures that can be installed quickly, being able to offer glasses in a large format sizes and to integrate photovoltaic panels, maintenance lines, exterior and interior, passive or motorized sunshade elements.
The systems are developed to meet the highest demands in terms of watertightness and thermal and acoustic insulation.
